Freelance Artist since 2005

o Consulting face-to-face with clients and assessing their time and space, working to create a wide range of artworks, including abstracts, photorealism, and environmentally based pieces made with acrylic paints, pen and ink, and whatever other tools fall into my hands. The ultimate goal is to make a piece of art that is customized for this particular space that can both bring the room together and hold power on it’s own.

o EFI Global Project:
I created a 3x4 foot acrylic painting of the Golden Gate Bridge, titled “The Gate,” in 2012. The couple that bought the painting own AMP Printing in Dublin, CA, and they insisted that I share the piece with the world. Using a revolutionary EFI 3-D printer, AMP reproduced the painting flawlessly on a canvas-like material known as Dreamscape. Since then, over 20 copies have been sold and there is a waiting list for the next round of orders.

SPECIALIZED PROJECTS

“CARDS AGAINST CANCER,” an ongoing project inspired by my best friend who died at 23 from a genetic condition that gave her cancer back in 2010. Our mission is to raise awareness and funds for Lynch Syndrome research by selling hand-made greeting cards throughout the community and beyond. Every patron receives an informational pamphlet with their purchase, the opportunity to donate on their own, and 20% of the card’s proceeds go to the Jacqueline Rush Lynch Syndrome Cancer Foundation. So far over 2,500 cards have been made and sold, and over $2000 has been raised!

“The Adiós Art Show,” a 10-year retrospective art show that showcased over 100 paintings, illustrations, and 2,500 hand-made greeting cards that I had created in the past decade, thrown at my parent’s house in Danville, California over a two-day period. This event was basically a wine, music and arts festival that brought the community together and gave me an opportunity to sell most of my work before making the big move out to Austin, Texas. We were also able to raise both funds and awareness in partnership with the Jacqueline Rush Lynch Syndrome Foundation. It was a huge success, and my best sales to date.
